The Valadians are a sentient humanoid race originally from the planet Valadius Prime. They serve as a stand-in for Earth humans within the Intryon universe, and thus are the most similar and most relatable race to humanity.
Valadians are notably quite vulnerable compared to other races, and usually resort to employing technology to survive and make themselves much more of a threat.
History
The Valadians originally lived on Valadius Prime, until their home planet was rendered uninhabitable in the year 7253 as a result of the Valadius Prime impact event. They subsequently settled on a string of new planets at the opposite side of the galaxy.
Appearance
Valadians are fairly generic standard humanoids. Their appearance varies slightly from person to person, but, for the most part, they share the same basic anatomy and traits.
The typical skin tone of a Valadian is a pinkish brown colour, with a wide range of light-to-dark complexions.
As adults, their height typically varies from 155-215 cm (5-7 ft) and their weight varies from 51-95 kg (8-15 st).
Culture
Valadian society is orderly, secure, disciplined, and logically structured, with a strong disdain for anarchy. Societal role is considered to be very important, with each person encouraged to find the role which fits them best.
In general, Valadians tend to be highly scientific and technologically minded. The typical Valadian will therefore eschew religion, believing it to be nothing more than superstitious nonsense.
Valadians can also be smug and arrogant, believing themselves to be the superior race; they look down on other races such as the Mirali. They expect valiance in battle, and will tend to use a show of force as a means to reflect their vision of progress and exploration, making them aggressive on the interstellar battlefield. They also emphasize individual efforts, knowledge, and talents in the collective effort that comprises the progress of their race. They favour forward action and innovation, making themselves an influential and core driving force of interstellar power in the corner of the galaxy that they inhabit.
Most Valadians have a very strong duty to valuing the truth. Those who are found to lie or act in a deceitful fashion tend to be considered outcasts.
Clothing
Most Valadians will don some form of clothing.
Crew members of the Valadian space fleet typically wear dark bluish-grey uniforms. They can sometimes be seen wearing mechanical armoured exosuits, which dramatically boost their survivability and combat effectiveness.
Technology
The technology of the Valadians is highly advanced compared to many of the other races in the galaxy, but continues to follow a largely conventional approach to design and function.
Where most races rely on supernatural or multidimensional means of advancing their agenda, the Valadians are known for their domination of normal space, making use of their knowledge of physics, chemistry, the environment, matter, and particles to build a machine or device that takes care of the problem. They also have a tendency to use fuel sources in an inefficient manner, increasing their demands and contributing to their aggression.
Their primary breakthrough was the development of ultrasteel, an extremely light but strong metallic alloy which is able to withstand extreme external pressure without buckling or denting. This material is used in the construction of their interstellar space ships, helping them to survive for long periods of time when engaging in battle. They have also seen some success in pioneering advanced disruption beams which can punch through shields more effectively than conventional weaponry.
Combat style
During times of war, the Valadians favour rapid expansion and hostility where necessary to ensure their survival. The hostility with which they pursue most other enemy alien forces usually stems from vengeance and pride. They are notably different from the other races in that they choose to use heavy armour and breakthrough tactics to blunt offensive action and repel the enemy. Because of this cost-ineffective and more conventional format of waging war, the other advanced space-faring races tend to see the Valadians as being more primitive when it comes to combat.

Background information
The Valadians act as the Intryon universe's functional equivalent of Earth humans. Examples of equivalent races in other universes include the UEF from Supreme Commander, the Terrans from StarCraft, etc.
The style and concept of this race was taken almost directly from space ship designs created by Medessec during the mid-2010s, many of which were actually built in Asterion Minecraft's creative area and later moved to the project void. Because of this, they were the easiest race to design ships for, since there was already an established style to work from.
The name of this race was originally the Valerians, but they were renamed early in development because of concerns the original name was too similar to the Valyrians from Game of Thrones.
